Arcadia's City Council selected American Golf Corporation of Santa Monica to refurbish and run the Arcadia Par 3 Golf Course as 620 East Live Oak. The estimate for remodeling is set at $405,000.

American Savings, which has been in temporary quarters at the southwest corner of Santa Anita Avenue and Wheeler Avenue in Arcadia since 1976, is seeking a new location. Site has been found at 30 South First Avenue but parking problem is proving to be a major stumbling block.

Louie Peterson who runs A & A Motorcycle Repair near the corner of La Porte & First Avenue has created a motorcycle museum in one part of his shop. On display are 20 mostly British motorcycles and a unique steam driven cycle. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
