"Headlines in Loveliness," Arcadia's float entry in the 1965 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade features a sculptured bowl overflowing with camellias and roses. The Arcadia Court rode on the float. Arcadia's 1926 float entry in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, "The Queen of the Foothills," and her court rode under a canopy of pink carnations. The background, signifying the foothill district, was typified by mountain oak and white and lavender heather.
"Proud as a Peacock - 200 Years," Arcadia's float entry in the 1976 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features stylized 12 foot peacocks of white carnation petals gracefully perched in rose-covered trees. The sculptured trees slowly revolve beneath a canopy of roses and carnations. "Your Own Back Yard," Arcadia's float entry in the 1992 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a garden area centerpieced by a large tree and tree house. Riding on the float is the Arcadia Rose Court.
"Arcadia-Newcastle: Sister Cities," Arcadia's float entry in the 1982 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features peacocks and koalas standing amidst an Australian tea tree. The Arcadia Rose Court rides on the float.
"Happy New Year," Arcadia's float entry in the 1989 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a top hat and cane, a pair of white gloves and two champagne glasses overflowing with orchids and roses. The Arcadia Rose Court rides on the float.
"A Garden of Roses," Arcadia's float entry in the 1974 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a romantic formal rose garden with two gracefully arched flowered trees at the front. In the center is a floral fountain. In the rear is a white floral bird cage. Coleman Enterprises, Inc.
"On the Air," a combined Arcadia-Monrovia float entry in the 1940 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, featured a floral radio. Ten people rode on the float.
Baldwin Ranch entry in 1914 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Entered by Mrs. Anita Baldwin McClaughry. Peacock of white roses and lilies-of-the-valley, mounted in an oak tree at the front of a decorated car. B.R. Marsh rode in the car.
"Spring is in the Air," Arcadia's float entry in the 1981 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features butterflies with ancient Chinese patterns on their wings. The Arcadia Rose Court rides on the float.
"A Day at the Fair," Arcadia's 1969 float entry in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, featured spectators in the grandstand cheering, horses speeding down the homestretch during a day of racing at the fair. In front is a floral fountain. In the center is a revolving tableau with a peacock. "Follow Your Dreams," Arcadia's float entry in the 1978 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a floral rainbow with 30,000 spinning discs. The Arcadia Rose Court rides on the float. Festival Artists.
"Where Dreams Come True," Arcadia's float entry in the 1991 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, presents a frog prince surrounded by gardens and the Arcadia Rose Court.
MarrLin Greathouse, 17, of Arcadia High School, was crowned Miss Arcadia. She and her royal court will represent the city on the Arcadia float in the Pasadena Rose Parade on New Year's Day, 1980.
"Sunday in the Park," Arcadia's float entry in the 1986 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a Victorian family enjoying a walk in the park. The parents push a perambulator with the Arcadia Rose Court.
"I love a parade," Arcadia's float entry in the 1968 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, presented a boy on skates pulling a wagon in which the Arcadia Rose Court rode. "Magical Moments," Arcadia's float entry in the 1987 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features a gigantic top hat from which a magic rabbit rises to a height of 30 feet. The Arcadia Rose Court rides on the float.
