"In her Majesty's Service," Arcadia's float entry in the 1984 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features Sir Walter Raleigh bowing low to spread his cape before the Queen and her Court of the Arcadia Tournament of Roses Association.

View from tracks toward Southern Pacific Freight Depot which was at 35 Santa Clara Street. It is the low building closest to the camera. There are two other warehouse type buildings seen beyond, also one box car sits on a siding.
Winery (brick portion of building) built according to Lupe Cuellar, in 1876. Shed built of wood was added later and converted to carpentry shop for Santa Anita Race Track. Winery was located on low hills just north of present race track building.
First community dial office in the Bell system was located in this 29 ft. x 33 ft. building at 19 East Alice. It belonged to Southern California Telephone Company.
