Left to right, in boat - Mr. Mathews, Mrs. F.D. Black, Mr. Stocker ("Lucky's son-in-law), Mrs. H.C. Wyatt, in white; Mrs. Stocker (Lucky's daughter) and Mrs. Scott. Alfred Paredes of AP Sculpture Studio is the sculptor (wearing shorts and cap), standing to the right, of the Lucky Baldwin statue called "A Dawn in the West." Photo was taken after the patina was completed at Art Bronze Foundry in Burbank, CA. The two on the left of the statue are artisans who applied the patina. The statue is now located at the Reverend Monsignor Gerald M. O'Keeffe Rose Garden near the Arcadia Community Center at 365 Campus Drive. Printed on inkjet from a JPEG file.

Santa Anita School Mrs. Fleck's first grade classroom photo by Edwards Photography (from the envelope which has been discarded). Top Row: second from left is Kathy Pounds. The school was located at 1900 South Santa Anita Avenue from about 1950 until June, 1981. In 1982, Arcadia Christian School moved in to this location. Extra 2"x3" photo of Kathy Pounds attached.

This photograph was published in the Arcadia Tribune, August 20, 1956 with the caption: Here comes mama--By all indications from this picture, it looks as if the children weren't the only ones who were having a good time at the recent Arcadia Recreation Department city-wide track meet. The Tribune camera caught Mrs. Mary Turner as she broke the tape in the "feature" race of the afternoon. Running a close second in the event is Mrs. John Panatier followed across the finish line by Mrs. Lucas.
