The Burnell estate is shown, heavily covered with what appears to be ivy growing one side of the front of the house. This was the home of George Edwin Burnell, author, lecturer and philosopher. The estate was built 1910-1912 and razed in 1961. It was located at 290 West Foothill Blvd., and encompassed 7 acres.

Mrs. Anita Baldwin McClaughry's entry in the 1915 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, "Dove of Peace," was 26 feet long with a wing span of 11 feet. The dove was covered with roses, lilies-of-the-valley, maiden hair fern and stevia serulata. It held an olive branch in its bill. It was the most costly float entered in the parade.

Per Teri Weeks, a long-time church member, this church building was torn down in 1961 and new sanctuary was built in 1962, so this photo was probably 1950s.

"Sleepy Lagoon," Arcadia's float entry in the 1961 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features the Queen Anne Cottage and three swans. It was designed by James D. Femino. Behind the float are two people carrying banner that reads "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers." A framed copy of this removed from wall outside Admin. office and currently stored in map case in basement, as of February 2017.
