There is a speaker addressing the crowd of people in front and one can notice soldiers in uniform and dignitaries seated behind the speaker. Flags displayed on the second story. Ivy covers the walls. Four columns in the front. The address of City Hall was 3 N. First Avenue, as listed in the city directory.
Thirty six students from First Avenue School (probably 5th graders) are pictured. We do not know which students in photo belong to which name. Some have not been named at all.
Two jockeys on two horses, each horse being held by a handler. Jockey on left is Richard Herman Shierske, who raced under the name Richard Herman and had a jockey license signed by Baldwin, dated 1909.
