The offices here closed on April 4, 2014 and this building was demolished on July 7, 2014. The school district offices moved to a new location at 150 S. 3rd Avenue on April 4, 2014 and then opened to the public on April 14, 2014.

Standing at right is Mr. Mann, who owned the Monrovia Ice Co. and it is believed to be his truck standing near him. Next person to the left is believed to be Fred Knisley. Under the sign reading Brunswick tires and tubes on the left, is a group of five. Man with hat and cigarette is Mr. McLean. Man on extreme left is his helper. Santa Anita School Mrs. Rutherford's fifth grade classroom photo by Thompson Photo Service, Los Angeles (from the envelope which has been discarded). The school was located at 1900 South Santa Anita Avenue from about 1950 until June, 1981. In 1982, Arcadia Christian School moved in to this location.
