One can see expanses of "snowy" terraine, with San Gabriel Mountains showing above sets. Printed on plane are words: PIERCE+RONDELLE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION. Ray Ramuz, who lived across from Arcadia County Park area where this was filmed, said that the "snow" was bleached corn flakes.
