Former Hooters restaurant manager Juan M. Aponte of Arcadia was arrested on suspicion of multiple felony accounts, including making secret video recordings of women being interviewed for jobs.
Another lawsuit has been filed against Hooters restaurant chain and a former manager, Juan Aponte. Seanna Mitchell of Covina alleges sexual harassment, invasion of privacy and negligent supervision.

Two men were arrested on Camino Grove Avenue and 6th Avenue in Arcadia. They were Thomas Zion, 24, of Arcadia, and Juan Manuel Rodriguezzendejas, 31, of Altadena. Zion allegedly hit Rodriguezzendejas with an ax handle as Rodriguezzendejas was wielding a screwdriver.
Arcadia Board of Education candidates addressed the questions of teacher proficiency, curriculum, censorship and tenure at a forum sponsored by the American Association of University Women and the Arcadia League of Women Voters. Candidates attending the forum were Robert Harris, Marilyn Perkins, Mary Dougherty, David Strauss and William Spuck.

Arcadia teachers will file an unfair labor charge against the Arcadia Unified School District for "not participating in a timely manner" in a process of negotiations called fact-finding.
