One can tell that this is early years of the track because of the dust kicked up by horses. Later, track was completely excavated and new improved mixture was put in place.

Both ranches are now occupied by First Avenue Junior High School.

The school district offices moved to a new location at 150 S. 3rd Avenue on April 4, 2014 and then opened to the public on April 14, 2014.
