Santa Anita School Mrs. Rutherford's fifth grade classroom photo by Thompson Photo Service, Los Angeles (from the envelope which has been discarded). The school was located at 1900 South Santa Anita Avenue from about 1950 until June, 1981. In 1982, Arcadia Christian School moved in to this location. 15. Westfield Santa Anita mall sells for $537.5 million. The mall is part of French-based Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield's (URW) continued unloading of assets in the United States. The deal is the largest for a mall in the U.S. since 2018. The property at 400 South Baldwin Avenue, now known as The Shops at Santa Anita is 1.48 million square feet and nearly 100% leased. URW acquired the Santa Anita mall in 2018 as part of its $15.7 billion acquisition of Australia-based Westfield, which had owned and operated the mall since 2007.
