Arcadia Public Library, 25 N. First Avenue. Building has steep roof and is small frame house. It was used as the library from 1924 to 1929, when it was purchased from D.E. Frazier and moved to a site at 1111 El Norte Avenue, near 10th.

There is no print of this negative. The negative is a Baldwin tract map for the Santa Anita Colony. The 800 acres of Santa Anita Colony were bounded by today's Duarte Road on the north, Live Oak Avenue on the south, El Monte Avenue on the west and Second Avenue on the east.

Home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bertolina. It was originally located on California (a street which at this time was 3 blocks south of Duarte Road). It washed off its foundation and was then moved to NW corner of 2nd and Alta. There are broad front steps and stone foundation seen in photo.

Photo of swimming pool which apparently was enlisted men's pool located approximately where Bekins Storage is today (1970's, at 35 W. Huntington Drive). Mr. H.F.Paden, an officer stationed at Ross Field in 1919, says there was another officer's pool of field stone in what is now county park.
