Arcadia police officer Bill White (was identified by former APD officer Neal Johnson), with unidentified equipment. Bill White left Arcadia Police Department in 1956.

White square seen near right side, is slab left from hangars when U.S. Army Balloon School occupied this site, 1917-1927.

Davis presented to Dana Junior High School the 1964 Recreation Track Championship Trophy for 7th and 8th graders. La Lorest was the team coach. Robin and John were team captains.

The principal street marking east boundary of Balloon School property running north to south across this photo about at middle, is Santa Anita Avenue.

A girl crosses the finish line in an apparent relay race. She is running barefoot, wearing shorts and a striped shirt, holding a baton. This photograph was in the Arcadia Bulletin, p. 3, August 20, 1956. The caption read, "Bringing home the bacon for the Holly Avenue playground in the recent City Recreation Department track meet is an unidentified young lady. Although her smile is one of victory, her team finished in fourth place behind Longley Way, Hugo Reid, Vista Park.
