"Fatmobile" continuing to roll with its mission. Los Angeles burger chain Fatburger served up dozens of meals for healthcare workers at Arcadia Methodist Hospital on Tuesday. The Fatmobile food truck has served 25,000 meals for frontline workers for its "Healthcare Heroes Initiative."

Sriracha lovers feel the heat as shortage persists. Huy Fong Foods, Inc. reports no relief in sight because of drought in Mexico. The hot chili sauce with the rooster logo is experiencing a shortage of red jalapenos peppers. This week the Arcadia branch of 99 Ranch Mareket had the 17-ounce bottle on sale for $5.98, down from $7.99. Huy Fong Foods is located in Irwindale.

Arcadia High School offers unique peer mentoring program for students with autism. Upperclass students mentor their peers with autism. The program has been around for six years. Genevieve Huffman, speech pathologist at Arcadia High School, is founder of this program. She explains that autism is a neurobehavioral spectrum disorder that can include a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communications, and others, and also reflects the wide variation in strengths possessed by each person with autism.

Officials urge students to seek out new program that addresses mental health crisis in Los Angeles County schools. Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn urges students to take advantage of the county's School Threat Assessment Response Team (START) program, which helps assess and respond to potential school threats. The campaign's tagline, "If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't" was developed through focus groups at Saugus and Arcadia High Schools. Diners line up to get last meal at Rod's Grill in Arcadia. Restaurant that has served generations of people closes on Sunday (yesterday). Hundreds of diners made a final pilgrimage to Rod's Grill in Arcadia at 41 W. Huntington Drive, along Historic Route 66. Rod Wellman started the restaurant in 1946 in Alhambra. The Arcadia location opened in 1957 offering 10 cent coffees and 40 cent slices of pie a la mode. Wellman's sons Barry and Brian took over years later, then Manny Romero bought it about 25 years ago and kept its vintage vibe. Romero was an immigrant from Mexico. He died in 2021. Concert promoter Insomniac will launch an audiovisual drive-through attraction at Santa Anita Park, starting January 1. It is called Electric Mile and participants will travel 1.5 miles through light and sound portals to evoke some of Insomniac's best known festivals, including EDC, Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape and Countdown.
