One of the houses on the north cove of the lake at the Arboretum which was built for the filming of the movie "Road to Singapore," starring Bing Crosby, Dorothy Lamour, and Bob Hope. The house is up on stilts in the lake. The movie was filmed in 1940.

"White Christmas," Arcadia's float entry in the 1980 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, salutes the song "White Christmas" as performed by Bing Crosby. A revolving Christmas tree is in the center. Sculptured snowflakes and peacocks are also featured. Arcadia's Rose Court rode on the float.

"Headlines in Loveliness," Arcadia's float entry in the 1965 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade features a sculptured bowl overflowing with camellias and roses. The Arcadia Court rode on the float. A framed copy of this removed from wall outside Admin. office and currently stored in map case in basement, as of February 2017.
