New York's Carnegie Hall hosts young musicians from San Gabriel Valley's Classical European Music Academy Los Angeles (CEMALA). A list of young people who performed include a few from Arcadia--Allen Chen, Andrea Li, Evan Girard-Sun, Farrah Chan, Halley Wang, Ngai Zou, and Sunny Xu.
San Gabriel Valley child prodigies get to play Carnegie Hall in New York City. The orchestra of the Alhambra-based Classical European Music Academy of Los Angeles will play Carnegie Hall on June 18. Eisen Hy and Sunny Jong are from Arcadia.

City of Arcadia Concert and Movies. Concert in the Park at Arcadia City Hall featuers Upstream, a band playing reggae, Soca and other Caribbean music on August 4. Movie is "Luca." August 4 is the 119th birthday of Arcadia and National Night Out.

Arcadian Melody Bodor reviews her European tour with the America's Youth in Concert orchestra. Bordor, a violinist, competed with high school musicians from all over the United States for one of the 96 positions.
