History of the band's performances include the first Super Bowl ever hosted in Los Angeles, the 2005 Presidential Inauguration Parade, and the Rose Parade.

Arcadia residents, city officials grapple with homeless issue at a public forum at Arcadia Performing Arts Center. City Manager Dominic Lazzaretto said easing the homeless crisis comes down to two major areas--enforcement and services. Police Chief Roy Nakamura said the number of calls to Arcadia Police Department related to the homeless increased from 1493 in 2019, to 2067 in 2020.

South Pasadena sues Dow Chemical and Shell Oil Company, alleging that for more than 4 decades, both firms willfully manufactured a pesticide containing a cancer causing chemical 1,2,3-trichloropropane, also known as TCP, that has contaminated the municipality's drinking water supply. TCP is a man-made chemical used as a cleaning and degreasing solvent. In addition to South Pasadena, Arcadia, Upland and Lake Hemet Municipal Water District are also suing Dow and Shell for TCP contamination.

A San Bernardino teen is arrested following crash. Arcadia police find the fatal hit-and-run suspect, a 17-year old boy, hiding in the bushes after pedestrian, a 28-year-old man, is killed crossing Huntington Drive. The suspect drove a gray Dodge Charger, which was found in the 1200 block of Oakhaven Road, with front end damage and a broken windshield.

With the House of Representatives leaderless and legislation going nowhere, President Biden has been urged to expand the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. More cities, elected officials, ask president to use his executive power to add acreage to the area, including Alhambra, Monterey Park, Santa Clarita and South Pasadena. The proposed addition of 109,000 ares to the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument includes forest sections just above the cities of Monrovia, Arcadia, and Sierra Madre, and up to Santa Clarita.
