Photo taken by TABER (studio) shows 31 of Elias J. Baldwin's African-American employees. Elias J. Baldwin hired them from the south in 1886 to come work on the Baldwin Ranch. There seems to be only one man in photo. All others are women and children. They are standing next to a building with a long porch; doors and windows open off of it. San Gabriel Mountains are seen in background.
About 38 students and two teachers or possibly three are seated and standing in grass in front of trees or shrubs. We believe the African-American boy is Julian Fisher.
Eight women at a driving range at Par 3 Golf Course in Arcadia. Three of the women are holding golf clubs and in position to swing at the balls. Some of the same women appear in photo ID 1923.
Young black man and young white woman on right stand very close together in the crowd at Arcadia County Park for the love-in held there. They are not identified.
Group picture of about 36 unidentified women. All appear to be wearing dresses. Part of a brick fireplace is visible. There are tables and chairs set up for a meal or party. An attached note read "Mrs. Woodward 2nd, 212 S. Third, 447-5236" so librarian has written that on the back of the photo.
Clara Baldwin Stocker on right with unidentified man and woman standing behind a mock railroad car bearing a sign which reads, "RENO SPECIAL." This appears to be the same setting as in photo #1554, with a different man.
Group of 30 students and one teacher standing by the "little red schoolhouse." It was on corner of California and Santa Anita Avenue and had been converted out of a vacant saloon. It was pressed into service when students outgrew new building that opened in 1907. We believe African-American boy in second row is Julian Fisher.

Looking east from Santa Anita Avenue to McLean's service station located at 808 S. Santa Anita Avenue. Standing at right is Mr. Mann, who owned the Monrovia Ice Co. and it is believed to be his truck standing near him. Next person to the left is believed to be Fred Knisley. Under the sign reading Brunswick tires and tubes on the left, is a group of five. Man with hat and cigarette is Mr. McLean. Man on extreme left is his helper. Photos #849 and #850 show same garage at different periods of time.
