Engineering Science building which was built on the site where Santa Anita Theater had been for almost thirty years at 125 W. Huntington Drive. It was completed in the late 1970s. (This photo missing as of 4/10/2013).
The Great Scot Restaurant built in Arcadia at 100 N. Santa Anita Avenue. It opened in March,1972. Beyond the restaurant the Towne Center Building of about 6 stories can be seen. It is at 150 N. Santa Anita Avenue.
Baldwin Ranch Store. A large two story building with cupola atop. On wooden siding is painted: Dry Goods Fancy Goods Groceries and Provisions Brandies Wines. It stands under tall eucalyptus trees. Joe Buck, resident, locates it at gate on what is now Old Ranch Road.
Looking east across Santa Anita Avenue to 110 N. Santa Anita Avenue at Arcadia Hay & Grain (owned in 1944 by M.F.Hartley). The Model Laundry just to the north, was a commercial linen supply and laundry. They are on present site of the Towne Center Building and The Great Scot Restaurant. (as of 1976)
