Arcadia police officer Bill White (was identified by former APD officer Neal Johnson), with unidentified equipment. Bill White left Arcadia Police Department in 1956.
Home and office of Dr. Fletcher Sanborn on NE corner of First and Wheeler. Note his professional sign on the lawn. There is chicken-wire fence showing in front. This house had many lives; its last was home for H.O.Y. Clinic until this was torn down about 1977.
White Oak Service Station located on SW corner of Foothill Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue. View probably is looking east across Santa Anita toward large barn that must have been on southeast corner. Owner Emil Bolz is pictured standing in front of his station. He not only sold auto products but ice cream, tobaccos, cold drinks, etc. The address listed in 1928 City Directory is 2 W. Foothill.
