Letters that spell out “Arcadia Public Library” (twice) that used to be on a stone and cement sign on the southwest corner of Santa Anita Avenue and Duarte Road. The sign was part of the original 1961 design of the library. The letters were removed July 1, 2010 and the rest of the stone sign was demolished and removed the week after that. The sign was removed so that a right hand turn lane could be constructed at that corner.
