Ray Ramuz (on tricycle) with his mother Hazel at entrance to the family nursery at 404 S. Santa Anita Ave. Ray is the present (1980) owner of the facility, which became Arcadia Nursery about 1929. Son Ron is currently a partner with his father and will carry on the business.

Arcadia High School Marching Band playing in President Dwight Eisenhower's inauguration parade in Washington, D.C. Band Director at this time was Ray Bowman. He is seen marching at left (next to motorcycle). The U.S. Capitol Dome is seen at the head of Constitution Avenue.
Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin in carriage on his original track which was adjacent to Michillinda and near Colorado Blvd. With him is W. McClelland, Baldwin's horse trainer at this time. Scene shows airplane crashed into "snow" with about 14 motion picture company employees nearby. Printed on side of plane is: PIERCE+RONDELLE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION. This was at Arcadia County Park area and according to Ray Ramuz at Arcadia Nursery who was a small boy at the time, "snow" was bleached corn flakes.

They are assisted by three local camel handlers in native dress. Anita is dressed in black dress and black hat with veil.
