Under the sign reading Brunswick tires and tubes on the left, is a group of five. Man with hat and cigarette is Mr. McLean. Man on extreme left is his helper. Portrait of former Arcadia mayor John M. Walshe. He is shown in formal dress with a bow tie. He is wearing glasses. John M. Walshe was born in New York in 1877 and died in Arcadia in March, 1935. He was mayor in 1930-31.

John "Jack" Ott, dressed in Indian Headdress is seen kissing the nose of an Indian pony (his daughter seemed to remember). Photo apparently was taken on north side of Anita Baldwin's home, Anoakia, shortly after it was completed. Mr. Ott was born in 1877 and came to Arcadia about 1907. He became City Marshal in 1914.
