43. Widening of Huntington Drive at Santa Clara Street to make additional right-hand turn lane going east on Huntington Drive, at Santa Clara Street. Two title searches by First American Title Insurance Company. The first title search is dated January 19, 2010 and the other dated July 19, 2010 and amended July 23, 2010 to determine ownership of a strip of land needed, and supporting explanation from Carolyn Garner-Reagan (e-mail, June 7, 2011) and Phil Wray (City Council minutes, May 25, 2011). The land was once owned by Southern Pacific Railroad but has since dismissed its interest in the land.

44. "Council overrules Huntington businesses" by Scott Hettrick. A new median in center of Huntington Drive at San Rafael will block left turns. Mountain Views News. May 26, 2012, p. 6. This work is part of a plan to revise three intersections along Huntington Drive between San Rafael and Santa Anita Avenue in hopes of improving traffic flow.
