"Showboat," Arcadia's float entry in the 1990 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, pays tribute to musical theater with its salute to the musical Showboat. The boat, with its giant paddle wheel, carries the Arcadia Rose Court, dancers, singers and a Dixieland band.
"Ye Fairy of Ye Oak," 1915 Pasadena Tournament of Roses float entered by Mrs. Anita Baldwin McClaughry. Dextra McClaughry (age 13) and Baldwin McClaughry (age 10), children of Anita, rode on the float. Dextra, the Queen of Fairyland, stood beneath a spreading oak while the floor of the carriage was converted into a meadowland of softest green upon which shell pink roses, lilies-of-the-valley and hyacinths grew.
"100 Years of Good Health, Happiness, and Prosperity," Arcadia's float entry in the 2003 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Front view featuring images and icons of the city with the Queen Anne Cottage at center of float.
"Sleepy Lagoon," Arcadia's float entry in the 1961 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features the Queen Anne Cottage and three swans. It was designed by James D. Femino. Behind the float are two people carrying banner that reads "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers." "100 Years of Good Health, Happiness, and Prosperity," Arcadia's float entry in the 2003 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Front view showing the "Queen's Trophy" award banner won for most effective use and display of roses in concept, design and presentation.
"On the Air," a combined Arcadia-Monrovia float entry in the 1940 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, featured a floral radio. Ten people rode on the float.
"A Currier & Ives Holiday," Arcadia's float entry in the 1985 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, reproduces one of the famous Currier & Ives lithographs of a mid-winter sleigh ride. A hand-tooled sleigh carries the Arcadia Rose Court. It is pulled by a 16 foot tall bob-tailed grey.
"Spirit of '76," Arcadia's float in the 1941 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, reproduced the original masterpiece in pom poms, cornflowers, daisies, delphinium, larkspur, calendulas, sweet peas and Talisman roses.
"America the Beautiful," Arcadia's float entry in the 1962 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Perched atop red, white and blue shield is a majestic eagle with wings spread. Arcadia's 1929 float entry in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, "The Old Oaken Bucket." This float was entered by the Boy Scouts. Wishing well is blurry under a canopy.
"King of Sports," Arcadia's float entry in the 1936 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, featured three horses at the starting gate with children riding them.
"June Bride," Arcadia's float entry in the 1963 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade features a garden wedding with a water lily pond, and two large trees in the garden with baskets of yellow roses hanging from them. "Ireland," Arcadia's float entry in the 1932 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade represented St. Patrick seated by the River Shannon and one of its historic bridges.

"Proud as a Peacock - 200 Years," Arcadia's float entry in the 1976 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features stylized 12 foot peacocks of white carnation petals gracefully perched in rose-covered trees. The sculptured trees slowly revolve beneath a canopy of roses and carnations. "I love a parade," Arcadia's float entry in the 1968 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, presented a boy on skates pulling a wagon in which the Arcadia Rose Court rode.
