Description: Dalton Adobe -- Captain Henry Dalton, a prosperous Englishman, was one of the few settlers who purchased his land grant. He is reputed to have paid $125,000 for the "Rancho de Azusa" land, and in 1844 built this adobe on it in Azusa Canyon.
