Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Proposition A funds will be used to re-do the Civic Center athletic field and light more soccer fields. The City Council also adopted a five-year capital budget.
Arcadia Recreation Commission members recently decided they were in favor of a project at Bonita Park at Huntington Drive and Second Avenue but felt the $78,000 estimated cost was too high.
Recreation classes and programs for Arcadia residents will be increased for everyone except senior citizens under a new fee schedule adopted by the City Council.
