An unidentified woman was caught in a robbery attempt at a house in the 300 block of West Colorado. She fled in the homeowner's Jeep Cherokee, was chased by an Arcadia police officer and was caught in Castaic.
One man died and a teenage boy was critically injured Sunday in a suspected arson fire at an abandoned house on the 100 block of West Longden Avenue in Arcadia.

The tribute and fundraiser was organized by Jerry and Jim Rocha. Jockey Joseph Talamo rode "Return of the King," a horse owned by Charles and James Ortega, in the fourth race yesterday. The horse finished second in the race dedicated to the Ortegas.
