The new Performing Arts Center at 234 Campus Drive, Arcadia will open next month. "An Evening with Anka," an exclusive benefit concert takes place October 27, 2012. The building is state-of-the-art, 40,000 square feet, and has 1,200 seats, on the Arcadia High School campus. There will be student performances the week prior to Paul Anka's concert.

Jerry Collins Picnic Pavilion dedication ceremony will be held July 19, 2016 at Wilderness Park at 2240 N. Highland Oaks Drive in Arcadia. There is a memorial plaque to commemorate his life. Pasadena City College is preparing to tear down three campus buildings that were previously used as barracks in the Japanese Assembly Center at Santa Anita Park during WW II.
The Arcadia First Medical Association held a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the opening of their new clinic in the medical complex at 624 West Duarte Rd, Suite 103. The association, with support from Methodist Hospital has opened the facility to provide service to Chinese-speaking residents of Arcadia and San Gabriel area.
Construction has begun on Arcadia Unified School District's $20 million Performing Arts Center. The 40,000 square feet, state-of-the-art facility is due to open in fall of 2012. It is funded by Measure I.

Arcadia Unified School District celebrates grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony of the Compressed Natural Gas Station. It was made possible by nearly $500,000 in grants from California Energy Commission and Mobile Source Air Pollution Review Committee. The new CNG station is estimated to save the district up to $40,000 in fuel and maintenance costs per year.
