Arcadia will no longer be represented on the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees by one member. A new alignment of districts splits Arcadia into two trustee areas.
Raymond Cenizeros, educator; David S. Hannah, business executive, and Harry Scolinos, attorney, are running for the Board of Trustees position being vacated by Robert Considine.
Robert Considine, Pasadena City College trustee from the Arcadia district will not seek another term. December 9 is the first day to file for the March 8, 1977 election. January 1 is the deadline for filing.
Filing opens December 26 for candidates for three seats on the School Board. The seats up for re-election are: Lewis May - just completed his first 4 year term; George Frempter - 8 years; Gloria Horstman - appointed to fill the vacancy created by the death of Gary Mills. The election will be held April 5.
Dr. Kay Clifford, president of the Board of Education and candidate for re-election, has dropped out of the race. Clifford has been called on a 3-year mission for his church.
The Arcadia Board of Education, in an effort to recoup between $60,000 and $75,000 lost in expenditures in negotiations with employees, has selected Norman E. Miller to negotiate with the state for reimbursement of the funds.
