A San Bernardino teen is arrested following crash. Arcadia police find the fatal hit-and-run suspect, a 17-year old boy, hiding in the bushes after pedestrian, a 28-year-old man, is killed crossing Huntington Drive. The suspect drove a gray Dodge Charger, which was found in the 1200 block of Oakhaven Road, with front end damage and a broken windshield.
Police arrested two men and are seeking two others in connection with a stabbing that occurred at the height of the holiday shopping season at the Santa Anita Fashion Park.

Man arrested after shooting in Arcadia. A 47-year-old man was arrested Wednesday, August 10, for shooting and injuring an Arcadia police officer (shot in the jaw), the suspect's 73-year-old mother (shot in the chest) and the neighbor across the street (shot in the eye with stray bullet). All three are stable and expected to survive. The shooting and standoff happened at 2500 block of Greenfield Avenue due to a family dispute. The 26-year-old Arcadia officer has been with Arcadia Police Department for 6 months and has 3 years of previous law enforcement experience.
Patsy Chang Kote, a live-in housekeeper, was arrested Monday at the Arcadia home of Ruth LeBerthon on suspicion of elder abuse and grand theft after she admitted tricking the 92 year old woman in her care into cashing pension checks and then taking the money.

At least 40 officers from five different agencies joined a massive search Thursday for a man suspected of robbing the California State Bank in Arcadia. Roosevelt Davis, 25, was arrested in an Arcadia neighborhood after the search.
Driver is arrested after 7-Eleven rammed. Monrovia man Sterling Williamson, 23, was arrested on suspicion of murder after he created a disturbance at a 7-Eleven store at 1003 South Baldwin Avenue on November 24, 2022, then allegedly crashed his car through the doors and tried to flee. Two men, including 22 year old Arcadian Jimmy Palma, were convicted of five counts of first-degree murder for shooting three adults and two children last year in El Monte.
