Return engagements for marching bands. All but one band scheduled for the 2021 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, which was canceled, has agreed to perform in 2022. The Arcadia Apache Marching Band and Color Guard will march in January 2022.
The 70th annual Arcadia Festival of Bands set for Saturday, November 18. The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade 2021 was canceled, but the show goes on for Rose Parade bands. PCC Band Director Kyle Luck and Arcadia High School Apache Marching Band Director Kevin Sherrill coordinated and edited a Zoom virtual performance starring Kermit the Frog and their student musicians for broadcast.
The 9-person team of Arcadia High School placed 3rd out of 73 teams in the county's 41st annual Academic Decathlon, thus performing the best ever in Arcadia High School history. The decathlon consists of speech, math, science, fine arts, social science/history, economics, language, literature and essay competitions.

Arcadia High School senior Naomi Stillitano was named the Pasadena Tournament of Roses 2024 Rose Queen, the135th Rose Queen. The Royal Court (photo) will ride on a float in the 135th Rose Parade on January 1 and attend the 110th Rose Bowl Game.
For the second time in three years, science students from Arcadia High School took the top prize Saturday in the county regional competition of the National Science Bowl.
