Darlene Young, Arcadia resident and a student at Maranatha High School, was selected first runner-up in the 20th annual California Homecoming Queen competition.
Arcadia resident Anjali Agrawal, a senior at La Salle High School, was named one of the seven princesses selected for the 2003 Tournament of Roses Court. She was selected from a group of 38 finalists.

17-year-old Arcadia High School student Courtney Chou Lee has been named the 91st Rose Queen. Six other young ladies are princesses including another AHS student, Lauren Valenzuela. Thirty young women are the finalists for the 2009 Rose Parade Queen and Court. Four girls are from Arcadia High School. They are Stephanie Lagace, Courtney Lee, Lauren Valenzuela and Samantha Power.
