They went on to play the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Finals for the first time in 40 years. In the end the Apaches lost by 3 points. Arcadia High School Constitution Team is going to Washington DC to the National Finals of the "We the People" Citizen and Constitution Challenge. The team is 30 seniors from AP Government and Politics class. They won the state championship last month.

Arcadia High School badminton team won its first CIF championship last week by beating Diamond Bar 13 to 8 in the Open Division (highest level). Arcadia High School created its coed badminton team just six years ago.
Arcadia High School Theatre Department won first place trophy in the High School Intermediate Category for its ensemble performance of "Oklahoma" at the Musical Theatre Competition of America. The ensemble award was accepted by Gabriel Rousset and Ariana Raygoza.
Arcadia High School student Nancy Xu, a senior, launches children’s book diversity campaign. She has written a children’s book called Hana and Arnie, a tale of a girl and an armadillo taught their village to embrace immigrants and diversity. She has a Kickstarter campaign.
