(Their daughter told us in 1980 that everyone called her father Jack.) Mrs. Ott is wearing a lavishly feathered hat and a tailored suit. Marshall Ott is wearing a dark double-breasted suit with his badge.
John "Jack" Ott, dressed in Indian Headdress is seen kissing the nose of an Indian pony (his daughter seemed to remember). Photo apparently was taken on north side of Anita Baldwin's home, Anoakia, shortly after it was completed. Mr. Ott was born in 1877 and came to Arcadia about 1907. He became City Marshal in 1914.
Bruce Sikora, part owner of Arcadia All-Pro Athletic Club, hopes that his nephew Marine Lance Corporal Donald John Cline will return safely from Iraq. Cline has been missing in action since March 23. A photo of Sikora and family is included

A Japanese family (child, mother, father) pictured by small house they lived in on Harry Ainsworth Ranch which was just east of intersection of Santa Anita and Orange Grove Ave. The father was the head gardener for Ainsworth. Name unknown.
Arcadia father William (Bill) Morales, finally achieves college degree at age 50. He graduated from Cal State Los Angeles, with a bachelor's degree in business administration last week.
