The 18,000-square-foot post office at 41 Wheeler Ave. has reopened more that 2 years after the 5.8 magnitude earthquake of June 28, 1991 forced its closure.
Sierra Madre and Arcadia Public Libraries were chosen from thousands nationwide to participate in Project Vote Smart, a national nonprofit, nonpartisan research and information group.
Motel 6, which was damaged during the June 1991 Sierra Madre earthquake, is reopening. The 87 room hotel at 225 Colorado Place was gutted and completely rebuilt with new furnishings.
