Arcadia resident Morley Winograd and co-author Dudley Buffa have published the book "Taking Control: Politics in the Information Age." The book was edited by Winograd's wife Bobbie, a former research librarian.
Arcadia-born Ruth Reeder, author of the recently published book, "Lemon-Twist: No Salt Added," will be the featured speaker at the Los Angeles State and County Arboretum on June 10, 1991.
A short story called "The Bipartisan Blond" by Arcadia author Hannah Smith appears in the September Ladies' Home Journal. She published a book called "For Heaven's Sake" about three years ago.
69 year old Win Arn of Arcadia has published his theories on how older people may enjoy their later years through their mental activities and their attitudes in a book titled, "Characteristics of People who Live Long and Enjoy It."

Arcadia novelist Jack Cummings' recently published hard-cover novel, "Dead Man's Medal," is being will received as an exciting adventure story of the posthumous award of a Medal of Honor, set against a cavalry background in Arizona and Mexico of 1888.
Horse lover and photographer Karen Davis has published a book called "Santa Anita Morning Rhapsody." It is a photographic collection of the Santa Anita Park race track in the early morning.
Arcadia resident James Dobson has written a number of best selling books, all of which deal with problems encountered in family life. Other authors in the family are Dobson's wife Shirley and daughter Danae. Article enumerates Dobson's other activities and responsibilities.
