Jonathan Robert Poyner, a former volunteer coach at Rio Hondo Preparatory School in Arcadia, will serve 17 years in prison after pleading guilty to molesting 10 middle school boys.
Marco Antonio Irigoyen of West Covina has been sentenced to seven years in state prison for lewd conduct with a minor. He was a fourth grade teacher at Rio Hondo Elementary School in Arcadia. He pleaded no contest.

The Automatic License Plate Recognition system will soon be implemented at Westfield Santa Anita Shoppingtown and Santa Anita Park race track to monitor vehicles entering and exiting. License plate numbers will be run through criminal databases.
