Construction on the Granada Royale Hometel at Second Avenue and Huntington Drive in Arcadia at least six months behind schedule. The project was to be completed and open by August 13 of this year.
There have been six attempted rapes reported at Arcadia High School since April 15, 1979. At least five are believed to have been committed by the same individual.

The Hughes-El Rancho Market is to be razed to make room for the construction of an entirely new building. The new market will be twice the size of the old. Several shops in the center will vacate to make way for the expansion.
Within 18 months, Arcadia Nissan, the last of the city's 3 auto dealerships, will pack up and leave town. The departure of the 3 auto dealerships will result in a loss to the city of $450,000 a year in sales tax (about 2% of the yearly city budget).
Arcadia's City Council selected American Golf Corporation of Santa Monica to refurbish and run the Arcadia Par 3 Golf Course as 620 East Live Oak. The estimate for remodeling is set at $405,000.
Anoakia School plans to relocate to another city. The Fire Department has cited the school with many violations in the past year. Last month the Department closed a group of 10 classrooms for being unsafe.
The West Arcadia Invitational Band Review, which celebrates its 35th year, may be in its last year unless a new sponsor can be found to support the event.
A site has yet to be located for the new housing project for senior citizens and handicapped persons. After a site is chosen, hope- fully by January 1982, another 21 months would be required for construction. Reservations and applications will not be taken until a few months before completion.
Construction of a Vons Market west of Baldwin Avenue between Duarte Road and Naomi Avenue may depend on whether the East Pasadena Water Company accepts the City Council's proposal allowing the city to extend its line into the water company's territory at the western end of the Vons development. The East Pasadena Water Company's lines are too small to be effective in case of fire.
