British food giant Tesco is going to open Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Markets in West Covina and Arcadia on November 8, 2007. Fresh and Easy stores are relatively small and lean heavily on fresh food offerings, including prepared meals and sushi.

The fines and closures continued a crackdown on massage-related businesses in Arcadia.

It requires inspectors to use a dry tare form of testing in which all fluids within a package must be credited as part of its content. Tare is the weight of packaging and all materials, tags, clips, stickers, absorbent soakers. Consumers could be paying more for less meat at the market.
Groundbreaking for expansion of the Westfield Shoppingtown Santa Anita mall will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 9:00 AM. The $98 million expansion will include a 16-screen movie theater, Borders Bookstore, Sports Chalet, a new food court, 30 new shops, and two parking structures. The expansion is Phase One of a possible two-part expansion of the mall, which originally opened 29 years ago.
