Arroyo Pacific Academy will be allowed to begin classes Sept. 10, 2002 at its new site, 41 W. Santa Clara St. The private school for grades 7 to 12 will operate in a two story office building.
Class of 2023 graduations happening in Arcadia include:
June 1-Arroyo Pacific Academy graduation at Arroyo Pacific Academy, 325 North Santa Anita Avenue.
June 8-Arcadia High School graduation at Santa Anita Park Racetrack, 285 West Huntington Drive.
Also, June 6-Gabrielino High School (located in San Gabriel) graduation will be held at Santa Anita Park Racetrack.
The Creative Academy of Learning, which has taken over Bonita Park Elementary School, is dedicated to helping physically and mentally disabled children.

The Board of Education voted to allow negotiations to continue to allow Creative Academy of Learning to keep its doors open. The private day care center is located at the Bonita Park School.
Creative Academy of Learning, an Arcadia day care center, almost went out of business last year and now owes the Arcadia Unified School District 4 month back rent.
The Planning Commission directed the planning staff to prepare a resolution permitting Maranatha High School to operate at its present North Santa Anita location.
The 49-year-old Anoakia School, facing a June deadline for relocation, has opted for local print advertising. Owner Lowry McCaslin apparently wants to develop the property at Foothill Blvd. and Baldwin Ave. However, the school also has numerous city fire code violations and a building that is not up to seismic standards. The school currently has 279 students from K-8th grade.
Maranatha High School students broadcast a weekly program on closed circuit TV as an extra-curricular activity. They have interviewed notable personages on historic and contemporary issues and were involved in election night activities at Reagan headquarters in Century City.
