Miss Arcadia of 1963 is Vikki Lynn Davis. She will be on the Arcadia float in the Rose Parade on January 1, 1963. The Junior Chamber of Commerce conducted the contest. Two princesses were selected: Lauren Dahl and Diana Lynne Donnelly.

"Unique Alumni Group Welcomes Former Baldwin Era Residents" by Helen Schrader. Ernest Schultz and his twin sisters Freda Schultz and Hilda Schultz, who were residents of early Arcadia and former students of the little school at the corner of Huntington Drive and Santa Anita, reunite and talk about life and schools in the early 1900s, including Arcadia's first school in the old packing house on the Baldwin Ranch. Beginning on January 25, Tony Bristol, owner of the Texaco station at 529 East Live Oak Ave., will have gasohol for sale. Bristol believes his is the first station in Arcadia to offer gasohol.
Reports on damage left by a violent windstorm. There was little damage to homes but trees were down throughout the city. The Arboretum suffered extensive damage. The Edison Company had major problems affecting 50,000 customers in the area.
The Arcadia Rotary Club has announced a major building program at the Casa Hogar Lazaro Cardenas, an orphan's home in Tijuana, Mexico for 100 children. Members of the Tijuana Rotary Club have agreed to provide one-third of the costs of the project.
