The new president of the Arcadia Business Association, Donald Fraser, said the emphasis for the group during his year in office will be to promote programs and membership.
The Arcadia Chinese Association honored its new president Dr. Wayne Lin. The association, which began seven years ago with 25 families, represent 1300 today.

Traditionally held the last Monday in September, each year the event grows in popularity. Taste of Arcadia began as the Wine Shed Mixer to raise money for Arcadia Tournament of Roses Association.

Annual Taste of Arcadia, an Arcadia Chamber of Commerce event, will take place Monday, September 19 at the Los Angeles County Arboretum. As always, a percentage of proceeds goes to three local non-profit organizations.
