Supervisor Mike Antonovich has proposed a name change for the Los Angeles County Arboretum. The new name will be the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. The prosthetic leg belonging to Melissa Huff, Arcadia High School student, which was stolen last year, was found in a back yard in Temple City. It will be returned to her as soon as possible.
Judge David Thomas of Arcadia has been selected to receive the 2003 Trustee of the Year Award from the American Association of the Homes and Services for the Aging.
