Arcadia's bond rating raised to highest possible AAA rating from Standard and Poor's (S&P), with the outlook for the city as "stable." The rating increase from AA to the highest rating of AAA is a reflection of Arcadia's strong economy, budgetary performance and flexibility and liquidity, but namely strong management and solid financial practices and responsibility by city leaders. Finalists of Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade's 2018 Royal Court announced. Jennifer Wang, Sydney Pickering, Lauren Buehner are from Arcadia High School.
Pasadena Tournament of Roses announces the parade's 2018 Royal Court. One of the seven Rose Princesses will be the 100th Rose Queen. The court is comprised of Julianne Lauenstein and Georgia Cervenka of La Canada High School, Sydney Pickering and Lauren Buehner of Arcadia High School, Savannah Bradley of Pasadena High School, Isabella Marez of LaSalle High School, and Alexandra Artura of Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
Pasadena Tournament of Roses 2020 Royal Court announced. Royal Court members will serve as ambassadors of the Tournament of Roses, the Pasadena community, and the greater Los Angeles area and will each receive $7500 educational scholarship. One girl on the court, Rukan Saif, is from Arcadia High School.
