Citizens Bank-new banking firm opens here April 15 at temporary structure at 140 East Huntington Drive, while a permanent home is being built on the property. Features drive-in tellers. Next Tuesday Arcadians will vote on two proposals: 1--Arcadia Elementary School Board seeks approval of $600,000 bond issue. 2--Tax increase to meet Monrovia-Arcadia-Duarte High School district needs.

Don Decker announced he is seeking the Republican nomination for Assemblyman in the newly created 61st Assembly district. The new district includes Arcadia, Azusa, Bradbury, Duarte, Irwindale, Monrovia, San Gabriel, San Marino, Temple City and Sierra Madre.
Firemen Local 986 of Monrovia has obtained a restraining order against the Monrovia Fire Department that precludes participation in mutual aid with Arcadia. Final determination of a solution should be had by March 12, 1974.
The City Council, in emergency session, cancelled its contract with City Refuse Service and awarded an emergency contract for 90 days to Best Disposal Co. of Monrovia.
