As of Tuesday, March 10, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom said there are 157 positive cases and one death in California.

Due to extensions and new restrictions to the ongoing COVID-19 Safer at Home and in the Community Health Order, many residents are staying at home and may have limited parking options. Therefore, overnight parking and street sweeping enforcement will remain suspended until further notice.

Arcadia nursing home sees spike in COVID-19 cases. With 2,708 new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County as of Tuesday, the county trend indicates some good news, seeing falling virus-related death numbers in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
On Monday, Dr. Barbara Ferrer, director of Public Health, confirmed that the curve is going down in nursing homes in the County of Los Angeles. At Arcadia Health Care Center, however, 45 residents and eight staff have been confirmed to have the virus. There have been two deaths at that facility as of Tuesday.
Arcadia assisted living facility Arcadia Retirement Village is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health for alleged COVID-19 health violations including the timeliness in reporting Coronavirus-related deaths and not giving staff new, sanitary supplies.
Two horses die at Santa Anita Park, two at Los Alamitos within one week. The two at Santa Anita were named Kakistocracy (died while training) and Electric Ride (died of non-musculoskeletal sudden death).
Arcadia Methodist Hospital of Southern California and Keck Medicine of University of Southern California (USC) take next steps toward affiliation. A written notice has been submitted to the Office of the Attorney General of California for regulatory review and approval. Following regulatory approval, Methodist Hospital will officially join the Keck Medicine clinical enterprise as USC Arcadia Hospital.
