62-year-old Gary J. DiSano of San Juan Capistrano, formerly of Arcadia, is the new Tournament of Roses president. He unveiled the theme for next year's parade: "2010: a cut above the rest." He has been a Tournament of Roses volunteer since 1972.
Army Captain Jon Schafer was among those chosen to ride the City of Arcadia entry in the 2003 Tournament of Roses Parade. Others are to be named later.
Arcadia's float for the 1974 parade is ready. The title of the entry is A Garden of Roses. Riding the float will be TV personality Wink Martindale and Arcadia Queen Kathy Andrews.
The Arcadia Tournament of Roses Association Royal Court includes Joy Blackburn, Sandi Thistlewaite, Kristy Mutschler, Cathy Reid, Theresa Van Dusen. They will ride on the Arcadia float in the Pasadena Rose Parade on January 1, 1977. The queen has not been chosen yet.
Arcadia's Ken Burrows will serve as president for the 1999-2000 Tournament of Roses year. Burrows announced "Celebration 2000: Visions of the Future" as the theme for the 111th Rose Parade.
"The First Americans," Arcadia's float entry in the 1975 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. A bust of an unnamed American Indian dominates this tribute. Surrounding the sculpture is a copy of an Indian belt. The Indian head was the largest facial sculpture in Rose Parade history at that time.
Five young women were chosen to ride in Arcadia's entry in the 1996 Tournament of Roses Parade. All residents of Arcadia, they are: Erica Mead, Michelle Medeiros, Nicole Mosteller, Rebecca Choi and Michelle Wilson.

Arcadia High School Marching Band selected to march in 2021 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. This will be Arcadia High School's 17th time in the Rose Parade. Bob Miller is the Tournament of Roses President.
