Arcadia City Council approves a temporary permit for an inflatable Fun Box play area in the parking lot of The Shops at Santa Anita mall (formerly Westfield Santa Anita mall, name was changed in 2022). It will run from March 1 through May 23. The Shops at Santa Anita is at 400 S. Baldwin Avenue.

Circus Vargas will be coming to Santa Anita Park for the first time this fall. It will run for 11 days starting Thanksgiving Day in the southwest parking lot. It is an animal-free circus.

The Foothill Unity Center had its 7th annual Back-to-School distribution of school supplies at Santa Anita Park race track. More than 1,200 low income children from surrounding areas were served.
