15-year-old Arcadia resident Erica Wu, a student at Westridge School, will compete in table tennis (ping pong) at the Pan American Games this month in Guadalajara, Mexico.
After competing in the Olympics in London, 16-year-old table tennis star, Erica Wu, an Arcadia resident, returns to Westridge School to start her junior year.
Arcadia City Council approved resolution establishing an 11-member Olympic Commission. Santa Anita Park race track will play host to equestrian events of the 1984 Olympics. Terms would expire on September 15, 1984.

Arcadia ice skater Mirai Nagasu is going to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Friends and family send her off with a party at Arcadia Presbyterian Church. She will skate in the singles competition starting February 23, 2010.
